This web site (www.armisteadcentre.co.uk) is operated by Wirral Health Informatics
Service (WHIS) on behalf of the Armistead Centre Project (ACP). Both the ACP and
WHIS take steps to protect information which you supply via this web site, but you
should bear in mind the following guidance.
There are various sections of this web site which require you to use a username
and password which the ACP or WHIS has supplied to you. You should be aware of the
risks of divulging your sign-in details to anyone else. There are various facilities
within www.bdpct.nhs.uk which allow you to type in information and send it to the
ACP, to WHIS or to associated NHS departments. These facilities do not encrypt your
information and it is therefore possible that anything you send in that way may
be intercepted and read by other parties. Again, you should be aware of whether
that information needs to be kept confidential and consider whether you should send
the information in that way.
In order to provide general usage information to the ACP, WHIS uses computer systems
which log and analyze various data made available when you visit www.armisteadcentre.co.uk,
including which pages people visit and what things people search for within the
site. The information logged and analyzed cannot be traced back to identify your
individual computer but could, in theory, be used to identify that a computer from
your ISP and/or in your geographic region accessed this site.
